We looked around cautiously before we entered into our hideout. I locked the doors behind us and went down into the basement to see Jacob and Julia sitting in the chairs, being unproductive.
“What did you find?” asked Jacob.
“Some supplies and we ran into other survivors.” I replied, dropping my pack by a shelf.
“Friendly?” asked Julia.
“Anything but.” said Jordan, still holding his head.
“We’re okay, though. We’ll just keep scavenging.” said Brianna.
“I feel that we need to relocate.” I said.
“What?” the group said.

Chapter 3: Door to Door
Which one first. That was my thought as I looked over the list in my apartment, putting on some boots and strapping a pistol to my ribs with duct tape. I decided to settle with a man named Fletcher O’Mally. Apparently, he had the power of electricity. To what extent, I have no idea, but that’s why I was going to visit him. I walked outside to see the sky change from it’s usual gray to a vivd blue, the sun shining down. It was about time. The address indicated it was the shadier side of New York, where Omega guards would turn a blind eye because crime was pretty bad down there. People were walking thr
Chapter 2: Epoch
Omega walked through the hallway, observing everyone around him. He was dressed in a black pinstripe suit. He usually wore it anyway. No one would look at him. Power emanated from his body, like he was a god. He never usually ever even walked through his building. It was the Empire State Building, but he used it for different purposes. There was a certain someone he had monthly visits with. He nodded at the two guards blocking the door, both endowed with super strength.
The doors opened to a room. A man laid in a bed, hooked up to powerful anesthetics and surrounded by glass. But this was no ordinary man. This was Epoch. Th
Chapter 1: The Beginning
“Against the wall!” shouted the officer.
The five people hugged up against the wall, ten officers pointing their guns at them, ready to execute them. I couldn’t look. But I did.
“Fire!”
The guns went off, blood splattered all over the wall, pieces of people sticking to the wall before sliding down to the ground, to the bodies they belonged to. The officer turned around.
“Let that be a lesson to you! We have a message from your protector!”
We all knew the message. It was recited every day. “I am Alpha and Omega. The beginning and the end!” The squad left the d
Chapter 3
The lantern cast a small, warm glow around the cavern as we slowly descended into it’s stomach. There was nothing but the sound of our shallow breathing and heavy footsteps as we kept on walking. We finally approached the hole I had made. It was big enough to fit two people through at once!
Elena put her lantern over the hole, finally deciding to hang down into it. There was a decline in the ground, providing us a small slide into it.
“You first.” Swede said.
Elena smiled. “Wusses.”
She sat down and pushed off. We watched as she slid down, taking the light with her. We finally heard an end to the s
Chapter 2
I awoke with a start, sweat beading across my forehead. I looked over to see Swede fast asleep in his cot. But Elena was awake, her arms supporting her head as she laid on the wood floorboards randomly spaced across the small shack, her long brown hair, hanging through the gaps.
"What kinda dreams do you have?" she asked, her blue eyes piercing into my soul.
"What's it to you?" I whispered back.
"You were mumbling like a loon!" she hissed.
"It was just a dream." I said, rolling onto my other shoulder.
"Sure it was." she whispered sarcastically.
I slowly went back to sleep to awake to the sound of exploding dynamite and the w

This is Hunger,
it is a beast,
blindly seeking,
the next feast.
It will hunt,
it will kill,
it will eat.
Flesh and bone,
marrow and sinew,
all will be devoured.
After the feast,
that fed the beast,
the man will awaken,
and he will be shaken.
Of the deeds,
he did not do,
but blood on hands,
and mouth will tell of sin.
He will cry,
towards the sky,
curse his life,
plead from this strife.
No gods will hear,
for this is,
his burden to bear.
And so it begins,
the hunger comes,
and the beast,
must feast again,
all his work was in vain.
Bone and marrow,
flesh and sinew,
all to be devoured.
All will please the Hunger.

Hey! I had quite an ordeal with my laptop where all of my files got corrupted on my hard drive, but after some data recovery, I have my stories back, so I posted some chapters of Survival and I have four or so chapters for Alma to put up soon!
I'm also working on a new, more realistic story titled "Super Rich Kids." Expect some new material soon!
Guys! I'm almost done! I have 45,365 words for my superhero novel! It has some twists to come in the plot, so I should have plenty of room to fill the last 5,000!
Alright, sorry to leave you guys hanging, I just got really lazy. Well, not really. I have 72 pages of the Paragon novel and I'm about to finish up the next part in the apocalypse.
So don't fret! I'm still alive!
I apologize if you consider this spam, but I feel I should specifically notify you as to what's going on.
Currently you may have read a journal that claims #WannabeNovelists inactive. This is a false statement. I apologize for any confusion. Recently a journal has been created negating such information. The journal also includes other important info and yada yada...
The only reason as to why I am bothering you is because I have asked member's opinion as to how we should go about "fixing" the group. If you could please take two minutes of your time to add your opinion on the matter ([link]), I'd be most appreciative!
Thank you so much for your time and consideration! Sincerely, ~ideasRKnockin
